Herefordshire's Health and Wellbeing Board is inviting local community organisations and groups to come together at the Kindle Centre, Hereford from 2-5pm on 20th November. This is an opportunity for communities to lead the way in shaping the Board's priorities and make the county a great place to live and work in.
The idea is to share practical examples of how communities in other parts of the county are helping to drive change and make local communities more self supporting and vibrant.
Communities in Gloucestershire and other areas are driving change by recognising and valuing the strengths and conbiritutions that all people can make in local communities. Ralph Broad, director of inclusive neighbourhoods will provide some practical examples of how this is working.
This is also an opportunity to share good practice locally, let the Health and Wellbeing Board know what is happening in Herefordshire's communities and share ideas about what is needed to help communities thrive.
Herefordshire's Health and Wellbeing Board consists of representatives from the NHS, public health, adult social care and children's services. It is chaired by Councillor Graham Powell who will be at the meeting to talk more about the Board's priorities and plans for the future.
Anyone interested in attending needs to book a place through eventbrite.
