Christmas at Ledbury Children's Centre

Santa will be joining toddlers, nursery, school children and parents in Ledbury, for festive fitness fun at the Children’s Centre in a bid to get fit for Christmas.

The event will take place from 9.30 am on Wednesday 11 December, and is being organised to encourage families to keep fit and healthy whilst still enjoying the treats of the festive season, such as mince pies and chocolate.  The activities will help families with children aged five and under, get into the Christmas spirit.  Children will have fun doing Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, the Hokey Cokey and their own version of Jingle Bells.  Hot drinks and seasonal refreshments will be available at the Centre afterwards.

At 1.30 pm there will be an interactive re-telling of the Christmas Story, by representatives from Ledbury Parish Church, which will involve the children in wearing costumes, using props and singing to participate in the story.

There will be Christmas songs and tales on Wednesday 18 December 9.30 – 11.00 am and 1.30 – 3.00 pm, the children will be making special hats to wear for this occasion.  Festive cheer and fun will be present in great abundance.

Christmas craft activities will be the theme at the family play session on Friday 13 and 20 December 1.30 – 3.00pm.
