Hoardings to go up at Old Market site

As site preparation nears its conclusion at the Old Market development site in Hereford, almost a kilometre of hoardings will be erected around the entire area over the course of the next month.
The hoardings will close off the site, making it safe and secure in advance of the start of demolition works.

Intensive archaeological analysis work, negotiation with key occupiers and contractor discussions are currently well underway in advance of construction work commencing.
Jonathan Bretherton, chief executive of Hereford Futures, said: “To allow us to begin work in earnest in the coming weeks, we are working alongside the developer, Stanhope, to ensure the site is thoroughly prepared and all the necessary legal and financial discussions are concluded.

“We’re excited as these are now nearing completion and the beginning of construction draws closer, and we thank our fellow Herefordians for their patience as we continue working hard to bring the city centre’s new retail and leisure development to life.”
